This pure birch syrup is made from the sap of the white birch tree. It's a semi- sweet syrup that tastes not unlike a combination of caramel, molasses and honey with a slightly balsamic and spicy finish. Use it as a glaze over trout, salmon, scallops or pork, or in marinades and salad dressing. It can do wonderful things to root vegetables adding a piquant depth. This versatile syrup works well with desserts and can be used as a substitute for vanilla extract in any recipe. 125 ml
